With vegan mozzarella cheese, this simple Margherita pizza is incredibly delicious. Due to its amazing cheesy flavor, you won’t even notice that this pizza is dairy-free.
We love this vegan pizza because it’s so delicious! Very good! We used organic cashew milk mozzarella cheese from Miyoko’s Creamery. It pairs incredibly well with tomatoes, basil, and garlic olive oil and has a lovely creamy texture. This pizza will be a hit with all of you, vegan or not!
Ingredients:
• Pizza dough – homemade or store-bought.
• Heirloom Tomato Slices or Campari Tomato Slices.
• Garlicky Olive Oil: olive oil, garlic clove, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes
• Fresh chopped basil
• Vegan Pizza Cheese
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to the highest setting (500°F or 550°F).
Step 2: Make the Garlicky Olive Oil Sauce. Minced garlic should be mixed in a small bowl with a little olive oil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. To combine, stir.
Step 3: Prepare pizza dough. Roll it out. Spread the Garlicky Olive Oil Sauce evenly over the top. Add sliced tomatoes and sprinkle shredded vegan mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
Step 4: Bake at maximum temperature (500–550° F) for 10 minutes or as long as your oven is capable of.
Step 5: Before serving, sprinkle some chopped basil leaves, black pepper, and red pepper flakes on top.
